Human Resources Office

The Human Resources Office strives to improve the University staff at the University through attracting and retaining members of the highest calibre. The Office reflects on the University’s performance through its strategies, plans for staff development and performance management. The Office core duties and responsibilities are underpinned in the following:  

  • Conducing labour needs assessment periodically and attracting the highest candidates
  • Interviewing and conducting the needed assessments on applicants
  • Developing the University pay scale.
  • Developing the University’s organisational structure
  • Managing and following-up on staff attendance and leaves 
  • Planning, organising and conducting labour development programmes 
  • Devising and developing performance managements and assessment systems
  • Analyzing data and providing suggestions on performance
  • Archiving and protecting staff portfolios   
  • Developing strategies and practices to improve morale 
  • Reflecting on the Accreditation Office in matching the Syrian General Accreditation System in relation to academic members of staff
  • Managing pay role issues
