The Public Relations, Media and Marketing Office

The Public Relations, Media and Marketing Office is a key component for the University working on developing relations with the community and other related organisations and bodies. Developing such relations and ties is believed to significantly reflect on helping achieving the University’s vision. The Office has the priorities of developing the University’s image and reputation, both locally and internationally. It is believed this is achieved through paying attention to the students and the educational process, and the Office is there to deliver such culture to the public through possible media channels.

 

 

The Office core duties and responsibilities are underpinned in the following:  

  1. Developing relations and cooperation with other universities and educational institutions, being private or public
  2. Managing and facilitating delegates visits to the University
  3. Facilitating the University’s conferences and seminars
  4. Organising public relation events
  5.  Conducting marketing research and student surveys and providing suggestions for development
  6. Networking and empowering relations with suppliers
  7. Matching students, parents, and employers’ views to the University’s strategies and practices
  8. Developing the University’s image and reputation
  9. Organising participation in educational exhibitions
  10.  Establishing positive, informative and transparent relations with public media 
  11.  Developing and following-up on the University’s website
  12.  Producing the University’s promotional materials
  13.  Facilitating access to information for prospective students
  14.  Preparing and executing marketing plans and activities
  15.  Helping in student activity programmes
