Within the framework of activating the technical cooperation agreement between the Syrian Private University and CIPHER Cybersecurity Company, a delegation from the company paid an official visit to the university headquarters, with the aim of exploring prospects for joint work in the fields of professional training, technical development, and capacity building in the cybersecurity sector.

The company’s delegation included the founder and Chief Executive Officer of CIPHER and Vice President of the National Cybersecurity Committee at the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Engineer Thamer bin Khaled Al-Dhafiri; Mr. Khaldoun Sarhan, Sales Manager at SIPHER; and Mr. Malek Nasser, the company’s Regional Director in Syria.

The visit began with a welcoming meeting that presented a brief overview of the university’s vision in developing technical and research programs, global trends in cybersecurity, as well as a comprehensive review of CIPHER’s nature of work, services, regional projects, and its role in supporting young talents in Saudi Arabia and the region.

The visit also witnessed an exchange of ideas and perspectives regarding potential training projects, cybersecurity qualification programs, advanced courses in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and the protection of digital infrastructures, all of which contribute to empowering students and preparing them for the labor market.

In conclusion, an agreement was reached to establish an executive program to activate the provisions of the memorandum of understanding, set priorities for joint work, and launch joint technical initiatives with a direct impact on students’ skills and their professional future.
