Expectations and Goals

The purpose of this course is to offer knowledge to student about the meaning of money, its functions and the evolution of the payments system. It examines as well numerous types of financial institutions; commercial banks, investment banks and central banks. By the end of this course the students should be able to understand the functioning of the monetary policy and its role in controlling various monetary and economic variables.
