General Information

Description

International business has become a relatively modern scientific discipline; attention has been paid to it for more than half a century; it has spread in various universities in general and in business administration curricula in particular.

From the term "international", it can be understood that the intended actions are those that transcend states and borders. This was linked to the concept of globalization, which changed the concepts of prevailing economic relations and introduced new concepts that were not familiar before.

The technological revolution, especially the associated with information, communications and information, has played the most important and fundamental role in the spread of business on the global scale. In addition, multi-national institutions, which have had a long arm in the expansion and spread of foreign trade activities and foreign investments in various forms.

Expectations and Goals

The course aims to:

1. Introducing the student to the basics of international business and its historical development

2. Explain its relationship to the international economy with a focus on foreign trade and international investment

3. Identification of the forms of bilateral and multilateral institutions involved in the organization and management of international relations in business

4. Putting the student in the process of changing the global economic, political and cultural environment generated by international institutions and exercising their functions;

5. To prepare the student to work in diverse business environments governed by complex rules, systems and cultures.
