Article 1 – The Faculty’s Mission:

The faculty’s mission is to:

a.     Provide students with fields of knowledge and methods of thinking and creative analysis so they become excellent and capable of confronting the challenges of engineering sciences from a contemporary perspective;

b.     Offer advanced educational programs in the field of artificial intelligence that align with modern professional requirements across the faculty’s various disciplines, and provide a developed scientific and technical environment that encourages innovation and adheres to international standards and academic accreditation requirements;

c.      Provide a professional academic environment for distinguished faculty members and retain them, while simultaneously developing and nurturing promising and outstanding competencies among the faculty’s graduates;

d.     Encourage students to participate in scientific and creative activities, organize specialized exhibitions for student projects, and participate in various scientific competitions such as the university programming contest, the World Robot Olympiad, and others;

e.      Encourage scientific research and postgraduate studies, authorship and translation, and the dissemination of scientific knowledge within the community through organizing seminars, conferences and scientific meetings;

f.      Build bridges of strategic cooperation, alliances and partnerships with many regional and international universities and scientific and professional institutions.

Article 2 - The Faculty’s Vision:

The Faculty of Artificial Intelligence Engineering at the Syrian Private University aspires to be a leader in transferring scientific knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence and its applications in all areas of informatics, communications, robotics, medical engineering, and bioinformatics, developing creative skills, and developing engineering capabilities, in a way that allows continuous excellence in its various activities.

Article 3 - The Faculty’s Objectives:

a.      Graduating scientifically superior and competitively skilled cadres by providing an academic environment that interacts with and adapts to contemporary developments.

b.     Continuously developing academic programs in accordance with the latest labor market requirements.

c.      Providing students with the necessary capabilities to analyze and interpret phenomena in the engineering business environment, and developing their abilities and skills in critical and creative thinking, problem-solving, and leadership in the informatics environment, and developing means of research and learning, and developing university books and publications.

d.     Synthesizing theoretical knowledge and applied skills in the college's specializations to bridge the gap between academic study and practical life, in a way that achieves compatibility between learning outcomes and the labor market.

e.      Developing academic systems and continuous training of human personnel working in the college to ensure keeping pace with the highest quality standards in the academic environment and technological development.

f.      Constantly striving to enrich the scientific arena with serious applied research and providing studies, consultations, and training in the college's specializations to various institutions and work sectors in the society, in a way that ensures meeting the need for necessary skills, and raising the scope of interaction between the college and the society.
