This subject introduces students to the human resources development (HRD) concept and its importance. It enables the students to understand the difference between HRD and HRM as HRD: is the framework for helping employees develop their personal and organizational skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Enable students to differentiate between HRD and HRM concepts.
-Introduce the main functions of HRD that include; employee training, career development, performance management and development, coaching, mentoring, succession planning, key employee identification, talent management and organization development.
